I Think My GPS Is Broken
If you are reading this and you’re a person that has it all together, I applaud you and challenge you to help the next person achieve greatness. However, if you’re a person that is trying to figure out how to reign it all in, build yourself up, and get back on the road; this is truly for you. In life we have or will make some decisions that will lead us to misdirection. We will type a destination in life’s “Google maps” but take a wrong turn. Now the area is starting to look unfamiliar to us. Redirecting flashing on the screen is what we should focus on because it is leading us to God. Yet we get stuck in our current situations and tend to drive further away from our original destination.
Just because you have taken few to many wrong turns in your life doesn’t mean you can’t find your way to the positive road you should be on. The one that is lined with promise, success, joy and self value. I too have made some awful decisions both before and after I found my confidence and truth to stand on. There has to be a willingness to succeed intertwined with a desire to change your current situation. What are you willing to sacrifice for happiness and right standing?Jesus sacrificed it all when he willingly gave himself up to be crucified for us. He was God’s redemption plan since the beginning; just to set us back in our rightful places. If he was willing to sacrifice good, surely we can do away with those things that satisfy yet give no life to us just so we can find true satisfaction in our lives.
If you find yourself lost in life; If you wake up one day and no longer realize the area you are in. If you have a strong sense of misdirection in your life and you can’t find the way to your desired destination, it’s time to redirect yourself! Maybe you can’t go back to the initial place of where you took the wrong turn. Your gps could indeed be out of whack; but you can decide to turn things around. Trust in God and know he will guide you; “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.” Psalms 37:23 (NKJV). With your hand in His, with your notion of you allowing the redirecting to occur, you are closer to fulfilling the desires you not only have for yourself but also His desires. A wise man once told me, “Your current situation is not your final destination”.
